Learner driver insurance is a special type of cover tailored towards those learning to drive with a provisional driving license. An accompanying qualified driver needs to be with the learner driver at all times when they are driving under this insurance. It is a more cost effective way to practice in addition to your driving lessons. If it’s someone else’s car you are using, this independent policy removes the risk of any negative effect to their own policy – like losing their no claims bonus discount.
