It’s as if we had a direct window into now; what we feared and raged against back then has come to fruition in bone-chilling ways. To document it in as much detail as possible–and not to leave out the bitter squabbles and conflicts, both personal and collective. As two lesbians enact these roles, the to and fro of their mutual/ized lesbian Desire(s) emerges as fundamentally mutable, its very essence active mutation, change, motile transformation on the textual (and material) plane(s).But honestly, it’s something all of us need to connect to now, because it’s not just women’s lives or lesbian lives—it’s all life on earth that’s being held hostage.
